Christmas 2009 and a budding Super Star! or two

So this last week we've got Gimpy Em, Puky Ady, and Antibiotic Gwen. The teacher who was in charge of the Christmas production this year (Miss Scott-an absolutely fantastic teacher by the way) seemed slightly stressed about how many of her kids were sick. Luckily Kalysta puked her bugs out last week since she had a part with several lines throughout the production. And Ady left her mark on the school bathroom yesterday, so she is about half there but she did well. Gwen had an adorable interpretive dance to be by the lone girl who dances by Mary and Joseph. There were some serious tears shed for the fact that her fever came back an hour before she was to perform. Whew, I'll be disinfecting my house this week, if CPS doesn't come get me first.

So most of these may only be watched by grandparents and my own children, but in other news -Emberly had her check up today. Things are well. She gets her "pot" (or cast if you're American) off Jan. 4. She is pretty mobile scooting every where (and pretty complacent that she has to be less mobile). Such a blessing! She even tries to stand and take a few steps.

Aw, poor sickies! I can commisurate some...why do they call it the happy holidays again? I hate the fact that it's sick season too.

I enjoyed Gwen doing all of the actions in that fifth video as well :) You can tell she knew she was missing out :/ poor girl!

Oh my, sooooo cute! Thankyou for posting those....great job girls, even little Gwenny with the sideshow! So sorry she was sick and couldn't get her due applause from the audience. Grandpa and I applauded you Gwen! Kalysta---great job, so many lines to learn, and Ady----great job, good dancing and remembering. Makes me super homesick--for you all...Do computers give hugs?? If so, here's a big one for each of you! Also, glad Emberly's healing well!
